The Verdes Real Estate
Tucked into the high Sonoran desert just east of Scottsdale, Rio Verde is an active adult community known for its spectacular mountain views, its serenity and its outstanding servicesand amenities. Golf and more, the community features two Tom Lehman designed golf courses, a clubhouse, resort heated pool, a high tech center, classrooms, and more. Homes were built from the early 1980s to mid-2000s, there are many different builders, sizes, and styles to choose from, many with unparalleled golf and mountain views.
Tonto Verde active adult living houses approximately 717 home sites ranging from the 200s to the 2Ms, and two golf courses designed by Gary Panks and David Graham. The Peaks course opened in 1994, and the first homes were constructed that year through the mid-2000s. The Ranch golf course opened in 1999 and very unique to most resort communities, the first 18 hole natural grass ‘putting’ course is located here. In 2010 a major renovation of the clubhouse garnered a first place award from Golf Inc. for best clubhouse renovation. The Santa Fe style facility boasts breathtaking views overlooking two lakes and the golf course.
Vista Verde is the newest of the Verdes’ collection. Custom home sites are available and on occasion a resale of a newer existing home becomes available as well. The Vista Verde Golf course opened in 2006 and the 18 hole course was designed by Ken Kavanaugh, ultimately the course will have 27 holes. The practice facility at Vista Verde is a great place to hone your golf skills.
